The expression "time flies when you are having fun" seems very appropiate because I began my banking career in 1975 and it only seems like yesterday. In 1978 I started in the trading room as a Foreign Exchange dealer, and the next 22 years I spent all my working hours on the telephone trading currencies. During my trading career I spent 2 years in London and 10 years in Germany where I was head of the international currency section of a major German broker company. During my time in Germany I successfully completed an MBA focusing on the external environment and corporate finance. In 2000 I joined Jyske Bank Private Banking and was promoted to Manager of International Client Relations in 2001. In 2008 I joined the newly established Portfolio Management Company Jyske Global Asset Management (JGAM), as a Senior Vice President. I am a member of JGAM's Investment Committee focusing on our Foreign Exchange strategy. I travel the world giving presentations about the markets and the investment opportunities at JGAM.
Personal Interest: I love the sport of golf but unfortunately it does not love me, as I never managed to get below a handicap of 36. I  have therefore put my golf clubs in the storage room and Im now concentrating my efforts on running and spinning. I have completed several half marathons and two marathons (26 miles), which I actually find much easier than playing golf. Having 3 grown up children my wife and I spend much of our free time travelling. I have also had the pleasure of jogging in the Andes, along the  Panama canal, down 5th Avenue in Manhatten and on the beaches in Thailand.

Over the years I worked in both Retail and Private Banking servicing clients from around the globe. With a Graduate Diploma in International Economy and a degree from International Advertising Association (IAA), my entire carreer has revolved around economy and marketing. I have been in private banking since back in 1998 when I joined Jyske Bank Private Banking. Most recently, I was marketing manager where I was responsible for the commercial communications. In September 2008 I joined Jyske Global Asset Management.
Personal interest: Very much like the bumble bee flying without being built for it, I enjoy long distance running. In 2009 I finished my seventh marathon and my personal best is 3.30.27 hrs. Next target is of course 3.29.59 if reviving my tennis career doesn’t interfere with my training. Autumn and winter are season for fowl hunting in Denmark and I truly enjoy the nature experience in the company of good friends and acquaintances, even if the parade isn’t worth talking about. When I am not running, playing tennis or hunting, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Being youngest of five brothers, I am blessed with an enormous family, and visits are frequently made whether to England, Bermuda, Dubai – or just around the corner.
